Almost 100% of games we review are indies so we couldn’t really favor them in the scores even if we wanted to.

I think 4 out of 5 would have been too high, especially after Emerald City Confidential. This was a great start to the series but I think there are even better things to come in future installments. In fact, I know this, which is why you should watch this space for the next two reviews…

I love the Blackwell games myself and, for an indy game, might have to give it 4 out of 5. If you’ve not played The Shivah (also by Gilbert), I highly recommend it. Also the sequels to Blackwell are also very good (adding depth to the storyline).
